The Decorating Committee

What is the purpose of this Committee?
The Decorating Committee builds excitement and honors God through Decorations! It is our goal to make God's house reflect the joy that He gives us! We frequently decorate the church and the Family Life Center (or other buildings as necessary) for special events and holidays.
 
What does this Committee do?
The decorating Committee comes up with themes to decorate the tables in the family life center for specific events such as Homecoming, Friends Day, Back to Church Sunday, Pastor Appreciation Sunday, Staff Appreciation, and more! We also decorate the church for the fall, Christmas, and Easter activities, as well as other events.
 
Who can get involved in this Committee?
 
ANYONE! Anyone who has the desire to decorate or wants to get involved in the work of preparing our FLC or church for special events is welcome to join us! We are always looking for new ideas and helping hands! When we decorate, there is much to be done. We need people who can do all sorts of things, from moving tables, chairs, and other furniture, to putting out tablecloths and making everything look pretty!
 
When do they meet?
We meet "as necessary" normally the Saturday before a big Sunday, but also at other times. Please let Mrs. Annie Tyson know if you would like to be added to the church's "decorations committee" all-call text messaging list, and we will let you know when there is an upcoming meeting/ work day!
 
Where do they meet?
Most of the time, we meet in the Family Life Center. 
 
How can people get involved?

People who are interested in helping can let Mrs. Annie Tyson know or contact someone in the church office. We would love to have you join us!
